What will you do as a Mechanical Engineer?
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work as part of a team to conceive, design, analyze, and improve industrial products, structures, or (sub)systems. You will achieve results by balancing creativity with technical knowledge and experience.
- Preparing and developing concepts, basic and detailed designs according to applicable standards and specifications.
- Creating manuals, maintenance schedules, and quality plans for the designed (sub)systems.
- Estimating engineering activities, providing cost prices, preparing draft offers, and maintaining contacts with suppliers.
- Planning, organizing, and managing your own work packages.
- Taking responsibility for identifying and solving problems, implementing improvements, and seizing opportunities. You will coordinate and discuss issues in a timely and independent manner with the direct supervisor and, if necessary, with the customer.
- Keeping the technical file updated and ensuring systematic organization of project documents and drawings, making them accessible to others.

You are
- You are proactive and creative in solving (technical) challenges. You maintain an overview during complex design projects and are known for being communicative, ambitious, and self-starting.
- We would also like to see the following on your Resume:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- At least 5 years of project-based experience as a Mechanical Engineer in designing machines or industrial products.
- Experience and insight into applying fundamental technical design principles.
- Experience with various CAD programs such as Solid Edge, Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
